Katharine McPhee's "Smash" Pilot Hits the Web
Its premiere is less than two weeks away, and the pilot episode for NBC�s highly-anticipated �Smash� has hit the web.
Starring �American Idol� alum Katharine McPhee, the much-talked-about musical series is produced by iconic director Steven Spielberg.
The show surrounds McPhee�s character, Karen Cartwright, who is trying to live her dream of becoming an actress in New York City.
With A-listers like Debra Messing and Anjelica Huston included in the cast and Spielberg at the helm, the series certainly has a shot at prime-time success.
