To become a great model is not so easy and it needs lots of work and concentration. Models should sacrifice their likes and dislikes in order to become a successful model. Following some tips in our profession always helps a lot and for models. Modeling tips are essential and it is best to say that models should follow the tips compulsory.  Here are some basic modeling tips that the models should follow.

1.Punctuality is the foremost thing that is needed in the models profession. Since there are many competitions existing in the field of modeling punctuality is must to get a good impression and model agencies always look for the models who maintain punctuality in their work.

2.Love your profession and do all your modeling work whole heartedly because our mood reflects our work so love your work.

3.Smiling is attraction but the models should know when to smile and how to smile. Always smiling in poses doesn�t look good. 

4.Follow the instructions of photographer so you might get some model poses and always don�t look for the camera. 

5.Have a healthy diet and do regular exercises. Drink plenty of water and have a good sleep.

Top Model Aafreen Vaz , refuses princess tag

It's hard to concentrate on looking attractive, as New Zealand's Next Top Model challenger Aafreen Vaz found out. Vaz was eliminated from the contest on Friday night after her photoshoot  who- failed to impress the show's judges.


The 20-year-old student agreed with their judgment of her picture, which she said was taken under hard circumstances.
"I hated the way my eyes looked - dead and flat, no glow in them," she told Stuff.co.nz.
"It was really tough. I was the last one to go up. The parrot had to deal with different skin temperatures and had to come down to mine. It gave me a good bite."
However, Vaz didn't consent with judge Chris Sisarich's comment that she was "a bit of a little princess".
"I am far from a princess. I'm not choosy about my hair. Sitting here chatting to you I've only brushed my hair once today - when I got up." Vaz had a opening to prove she's not prissy with the makeover she received in last week's episode. She "loved" the look she was given, but this was not the case with all the contestants.



"Noticeably some of the other girls are friendly to their hair and a few of them had tantrums and were crying. I think it comes down to the fact that everyone's different."
It was a active week for the models, who were also given a confront to network with insiders from the fashion industry.
While Vaz enjoyed the challenge, fellow contestant Dakota Biddle's strange approach to the task stood out.
 "I understand if someone wants to take an casual approach. But I think she took informal to an extreme. Some of the words she was using were a bit improper for VIPs," said Vaz.
Despite this, she thinks all the remaining contestants deserved to be there.
"The girls in there are a pool that's completely delegate of New Zealand and our mixed culture society. Everyone's completely different."


Vaz herself is testimony that not all models are cut from the same cloth. She is studying towards a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physiology at Otago University.

Miss Universe 2010 winner Jimena Navarrete was on the Today' show this morning. The pretty queen talked about her charity work and talked about how she felt after winning the title. She positively knows it is a big duty.

Another question that was asked to Miss Universe was about the pageant itself. We all marveled what it is like to be in a high stress environment where there are many hope and many conditions yet the end result means one could win big. According to Miss Universe, the major difficulty about the pageant had to be not enough sleep. Up early, the ladies have to get going to make sure they are ready for the day. Getting to bed later  they don't get as much sleep as they would have in other times.

Take a glance at the video and notice how the host has the Miss Universe crown on her head and is playing with the camera. She seems fanatical that she is playing with the crown. This pageant visibly destroys the wife's tale about ' Needing beauty sleep' as these ladies seem to be running on little to none and still look outstanding.
