Best Dessed of the Year! Number 1: Emma Watson

Why Emma Watson is my BEST Dressed of the Year: Emma Watson sure went out (of the Harry Potter franchise) with a bang! She looked divine at the premieres of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 in dresses from the very best designers; my favorites being her brown Bottega Veneta gown and her grey Oscar de la Renta gown seen above! She seems to have finally found a style that's perfect for her - cute but edgy - so now that we can't worship her as Hermione anymore, at least we can worship her style!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Best Dressed of the Year! Number 3: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Why Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is my 3rd Best Dressed of the Year: I have never ever seen anyone in so many gorgeous outfits while promoting a movie. Every single dress she wore during the Transformers press tour was amazing! Rosie knows how to dress sexy while still looking classy, and this is one of the most important carpet fashion qualities you can possess. I've even started to love her street style lately, so I think she looks incredible wherever she is nowadays!

Hit or miss?

To no one's surprise, Sarah Jessica Parker wore a dress from Prabal Gurung's Spring 2012 collection to last night's Melbourne premiere of I Don't Know How She Does It (a movie that I, btw, can't wait to see!).

The Venice Film Festival

The Venice Film Festival began today and I have to say, there have already been some pret-ty impressive Red Carpet looks. I've actually liked every single one I've seen so far! Here are some outfits from tonight's The Ides of March premiere:

Vittoria Puccini
I. Am. Speechless.

Marisa Tomei
I don't know if I love that necklace detail, but it definitely makes the outfit interesting and original. And I do love the color and the simple design of the dress.

Diane Kruger
Does Diane ever get it wrong?
I'll admit that I prefer the runway version of the dress, but she still looks remarkable.

Bianca Brandolini D'Adda
Gooooooooorgeous!

Evan Rachel Wood
This dress isn't remotely boring, but the shooooes - the shoes are another story. All in all though, cool outfit!

Hit or miss?

Zooey Deschanel chose a rather bold dress (from Moschino's Fall 2011 collection) for the LA premiere of her new movie Our Idiot Brother. This look is a lot more fun than the her last red carpet outfits, if you ask me. It could, however, use a splash of color. Maybe pink shoes? Red? Blue? The shoes should be replaced altogether really; a little dull, aren't they? But, lovely hair. Lovely makeup. Lovely clutch.

Hit or miss?

Olivia Wilde at the London premiere of Cowboys and Aliens.

I must say, I like the runway version's sheer skirt much more. I do, however, think that Olivia Wilde looks fine here, but I've gotten the feeling that many people disagree with that. What do you think?

Hit or miss?

This is what Emma Stone wore to the The Help premiere in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles this Tuesday. I feel like this is something you either hate or love... so, which is it?

Personally, I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this outfit. I think she nailed it so bad. It's perfect. It's original, it's fun, it's appropriate for the occasion, it's flattering, it's stylish. Wow!
