Best Dressed of the Year! Number 15: Blake Lively

Why Blake Lively is my 15th Best Dressed of the Year: Any other year I would have ranked her co-star Leighton Meester higher, but this year Blake has really impressed me. She used to show a little too much cleavage in my opinion, but lately she's been looking very polished and sophisticated on the carpet. And she doesn't even have a stylist, so she's free to wear whatever she wants, which is great, because she obviously knows what should be worn!

Best Dressed of the Year! Number 22: Leighton Meester

Why Leighton Meester is my 22nd Best Dressed of the Year: I've always felt like Leighton isn't afraid to try new things and I absolutely love that about her. I do, however, think that she was even more fearless last year - she would have definitely been top 10 then, so I hope she steps it up again in 2012. She's had a lot going on in her personal life this year though, and I really admire how she always manages to look so 'together' despite all that. It's obvious that she makes an effort to dress fashionably and I love a woman who puts some time and thought into her outfits. And not to mention Blair Waldorf's style! I guess I can't exactly give Leighton credit for that, but Blair's stylish and slightly uptight wardrobe choices have been better than ever this season!

Best and Worst Dressed of the Week

Best

Crystal Renn                        Leighton Meester (as Blair Waldorf)
in Zac Posen                                       in Alberta Ferretti

Leighton Meester                                  Lily Collins                      Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
in Dior                                           in Chanel                               in Isabel Marant

Lady Gaga                                Alexa Chung                        Camilla Belle
in Viktor & Rolf                        in Mary Katrantzou                       in Gucci
So many interesting outfits this past week. My absolute favorite is Crystal Renn in Zac Posen - love the design of that dress! I'm not too crazy about Alexa Chung's shoes, but I love the dress so much I had to include it. It's similar to the Mary Katrantzou dress Keira Knightley wore a few weeks ago (that was featured in my Best Dressed list that week); I just love the pattern on these dresses. And I'm sure a lot of you don't like Lily Collins' dress, but I think she looks adorable; such a classic, yet original, Chanel dress.

Worst

AnnaLynne McCord                                 Brynne Edelsten                             Princess Charlene of Monaco

                       Randy Jackson                             Lindsay Lohan                                  Kelis

Best Dressed of the Week

I'm moving to Paris tomorrow (!!), so I've been really busy lately; just meeting lots of people and saying goodbye and stuff like that. Right now I'm trying to fit my whole life into a bag, which isn't the easiest thing to do. Actually it's really hard, so I thought I'd take a break and post my 'Best Dressed of the Week' list instead. I haven't come across any horrible outfits lately, so I'm only including 'Best Dressed' this week.

Natalia Vodianova in Givenchy Fall 2011 Couture
Hailee Steinfeld in Carven Fall 2011
Leighton Meester in Marios Schwab Resort 2012
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Burberry
Eva Herzigova in Roberto Cavalli

Best and Worst Dressed of the Week

Here's my Best and Worst Dressed of the Week list (not counting the models in Prabal Gurung's show, because then, obviously, there would be no room for celebrities):

Best Dressed

Gwyneth Paltrow in Prada
Keira Knightley in Elie Saab
Sarah Jessica Parker in Prabal Gurung
Leighton Meester in Alexander McQueen
Isabeli Fontana in Emilio Pucci

Worst Dressed

Abbey Clancy in Emanuel Ungaro
Kelis
Kaya Scodelario in Burberry
Emma Watson in McQ
Abbie Cornish in Emilio Pucci

Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 ready-to-wear Collection

This is my absolute favorite collection that has been shows during New York Fashion Week so far.

I sure am ready-to-wear this! Aaah, it's so amazing! It's something I can see Sarah Jessica Parker, Leighton Meester, Kat Graham, Diane Kruger, Anna Paquin and Olivia Palermo wearing. And I even feel like the Emma's of Hollywood might be courageous enough to try one of these this spring (Watson, Stone and Roberts, that is). The collection is so feminine and fun and original! I mean, Prabal Gurung is known for making bold dresses, but this collection is even more so than usual.

What do you think? Do you love it as much as I do?
