Fresh off of a lengthy break from the spotlight, Ashlee Simpson was all smiles as she stepped out for a Reebok event in Los Angeles on Wednesday (June 16). Looking in fine form, the former "Melrose Place" actress was busy singing her praises for the Easy Tone sneakers - which she credits for snapping back into shape after her pregnancyOnce ready to lose the extra pounds, Miss Simpson said of the process, "When I wanted to get back into shape, I worked out and these shoes are amazing because you can really feel them in your booty. But I also worked out and ate healthy."

Also explaining her decision to lighten her workload, Ashlee told, "Being a mom is my first priority and it's amazing because you grow up and watch your child grow up. It's the best thing in the whole entire world."

Talking about the transformation, Ashlee told E! Online, "I gained 50 pounds, which was awesome! I ate cake and cupcakes. I had a blast!"
